Queeries, is an interdisciplinary dance theatre piece that develops people’s knowledge and understanding of gender and sexuality, covering topics and questions that members of the LGBTQIA+ community wanted to know, and wanted others to know, when they were exploring their gender and sexual identity. The work is a coming together of LGBTQIA+, trans and non-binary/queer artists, and is a combination of cross arts practices between dance, theatre, voice work and music.

The work was first performed as a solo at The Warrington Arts Festival scratch night in June, 2023. In November 2023 the work was funded by Arts Council England and Cartwheel arts to undergo a Research and Development period with an increased cast of 5 dancers, 1 apprentice dancer and Musician. In June 2024 we embarked on the creation period of Queeries supported by Arts Council England. Now complete, the production is available for touring and bookings across 2024-25.

Please get in touch if interested and to receive the tour pack for production.

Quote from audience member post performance at Waterside Arts, Sale

"The performance was beautifully gentle. It had so many elements you can appreciate even if you don't know dance, such as the music, costume, lighting and colours. I loved the development of the characters and how those emotions were felt by the audience."
